How do they perform over time?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.

Are they worth it?

Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also be smart.

They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.

How durable are they?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong.

Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
